The Las Cruces Police Department’s Victims’ Assistance Unit is now accepting applications for volunteers interested in joining CIRT – the Crisis Intervention Response Team.

The Crisis Intervention Response Team works with police officers and detectives in offering assistance to victims of crimes. Volunteering for the team is a unique opportunity for those interested in a career in law enforcement, as a victim’s advocate or college students who want experience in law enforcement or social work.
