Las Cruces Event: DACC Annual Haunted House

The strange and eerie awaits you at the 5th Annual Doña Ana Community College (DACC) Creative Media Technology (CMT) Haunted House.

Come see some of the spirits who have crossed over to this world at the spooktacular of the year event. Lamaia Vaughn is the faculty adviser to the CMT Club who sponsors the Haunted House project along with faculty member Layle Chambers and the Theatre Arts Club. “We offer a unique view of favorite characters from the media,” Vaughn said. “Our students have created a scary, educational, fun environment for children, ages 3 – 12, and their families.”

Costumes for those attending are optional but required for the spooks, gremlins and costumed crusaders who will be your hosts and entertainment. Come trick-or-treat at our safe alternative to Halloween on the street. Last year’s frighttivities drew more than 1,200 children and parents. But as the ghouls say, “We will always make room for more.”

This haunted house event is free, and kid-friendly. The fright night will begin on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm in room 123 of the DACC Workforce Center, 2345 Nevada Avenue in Las Cruces.
