Las Cruces Finalists In Chess Championship

Endgame Chess would like to congratulate 12-year-old Kristina Martos for being a finalist in the New Mexico K-12 girl’s championship! This event was held April 9th at AIMS UNM in Albuquerque. Kristina is a 6th grader at Lynn Middle School in Las Cruces and has been a competitive player for a couple of years. Only the top 8 girls in New Mexico were invited to compete. Her performance has given her the possibility to compete in the Polgar Girl’s tournament of Champions at Webster University in mid-July. If Kristina is selected, she will be representing New Mexico as well as competing for a $5000 cash scholarship in this prestigious event.
Good Luck Kristina Martos
