The City of Las Cruces is hosting a Dust Summit on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at City Hall, rooms 2007B – C (700 N. Main Street). The purpose of the summit is to inform the public of the developments in the Wind Erosion program in the City of Las Cruces.
It will also serve as an educational seminar for those in the construction development and design sectors, who submit and implement plans to the City.
Topics for discussion include: Wind erosion control, wind patterns, health effects of dust and control methods. The public is invited to attend.
