Las Cruces Meeting To Discuss Soledad Canyon Road Project

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Federal Highway Administration Central Federal Lands Highway Division and Doña Ana County will be hosting a public meeting on November 28, 2017 for the Soledad Canyon Road Improvement Project.

This project would provide improvements to Soledad Canyon Road between Dripping Springs Road and the BLM Soledad Canyon Day Use Area Entrance. The project will improve access to federal lands and existing residences and better accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians along the corridor. Proposed improvements include resurfacing of the roadway, widening of the road to include bicycle lanes, drainage improvements, and construction of a multi-use path.
