Downtown, Las Cruces September 30th, October 1st and 2nd: The Downtown Las Cruces Partnership, in collaboration with our partners at Visit Las Cruces and Project MainStreet, asks you to save the date for the 8th Annual SalsaFest!
Each year, Downtown Las Cruces springs to life with a celebration of our cultural heritage benefitting the work of the DLCP. Several changes have been made to this year’s event to make it bigger and better than ever including:
· Use of the new Downtown Plaza as a primary location
· Changing the dates to take place later in the year to avoid high temperatures
· Inclusion of a 5-course sit-down fundraising dinner with food and entertainment featuring the theme “Salsas From Around the World” on Friday evening in partnership with Project MainStreet
· A Havana-inspired street festival hosted by Visit Las Cruces on Saturday Evening
· Traditional SalsaFest and the salsa completion on Sunday afternoon
Music by Nosotros and Team Havana has been confirmed. Food, activities for children, dancing and street performers will round out this incredible event.
