Las Cruces – The Las Cruces Police Department will deploy its Mobile Operations Center to the Henry Benavidez Community Center Thursday, June 2, so area residents can meet with officers and share concerns about their neighborhood.
The Mobile Operations Center (MOC) will be stationed at the Benavidez Center at 8 a.m. Thursday and will be manned continuously until 6 p.m. Saturday, June 4.
All Benavidez Center neighbors, and residents who live within proximity of Mayfield High School, are invited to stop by the MOC during those hours.
The deployment of the MOC allows area residents the opportunity to visit with LCPD officers, share their ideas for a safer community and discuss any law enforcement concerns they may have. No appointment is necessary to visit with an officer at the Mobile Operations Center.
The Henry Benavidez Community Center is located at 1045 McClure Road.
