Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the man who held up a local pizza restaurant Saturday evening.
Las Cruces Police learned that at around 10 p.m. Saturday, July 27, a man armed with a black handgun entered the Pizza Hut at 2205 Missouri Avenue. The man forced employees to hand over cash from the register and then ordered the employees to the floor.
The suspect left the restaurant through a door on the west side of the building. No physical injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as Hispanic, 5-feet-9-inches to 6-feet tall with a thin build and a tattoo across his chest.
