Las Cruces motorists are advised that Turquoise Avenue from Union Avenue to Cinnabar Lane will experience a road closure to traffic beginning Tuesday July 9. The anticipated re-open date is Monday July 15. The road closure will be in effect for approximately 5 days, while Morrow Enterprises Inc., makes repairs to an existing sewer main. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working expeditiously to have the road open as soon as possible.
Traffic will be experiencing a road closure on Turquoise Avenue from Union Avenue to Cinnabar Lane. Motorists seeking access to residents in the Las Brisas Subdivison can do so as before by following detours that are in effect. Access to businesses will be maintained. Motorists using these roads as a through route should seek alternate routes if available. Cinnabar Lane will continue to be open to South Main.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
- West bound Union Avenue will turn left on Stern Drive; Right on Jasper Avenue; Right on Ironwood Drive; Right on Turquoise Ave.
- East bound Union Avenue will turn right on Stern Drive; Right on Jasper Avenue; Right on Ironwood Drive; Right on Turquoise Ave.
Morrow Enterprises Inc., is making repairs to an existing sewer main during this time.
