LAS CRUCES, NM - The Las Cruces Symphony Association proudly presents POPS Under the Stars! The outdoor concert will be heldSunday, September 13, 2015, at the newly refurbished Presley Askew baseball stadium on the New Mexico State University campus.
The symphony will perform a variety of popular music including patriotic songs with a full color guard salute to our veterans, as well as themes from popular television shows, movies and Broadway musicals.
The evening will conclude with Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture set against a spectacular fireworks display.
An array of food and beverages, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase before and throughout the concert.
Gates open at 6:30 pm and the concert will begin at 8:00 pm. Seating is general admission and first come first serve.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-17, and free for children 5 and under.
