A Las Cruces woman has come forward to claim a $2 million prize in the Powerball game from the New Mexico Lottery.
Lottery officials said Friday that Romana Saavedra's ticket for a Nov. 29 drawing matched the five white ball numbers to win $1 million.
She doubled her prize to $2 million by adding the $1 Power Play feature to her ticket, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes.
Saavedra only found her ticket Monday while going through her car and purse.
Saavedra says she plans to share her prize money with her husband and three grown children.
She also will be playing the same lucky numbers Saturday for a chance to win a $380 million jackpot.
