A Book-signing and Beer tasting event for readers, animal-lovers, and everyone else!
Come and listen to author, speaker, teacher, priest, dog-lover, and bar-owner Bill Miller and meet his dog, NaWiliWili Nelson. They are traveling across country to enjoy their time together as they fulfill Wili’s bucket list or “Barket List” and to help others ponder the gift of life, the gift of God, and the gift of Dog, the greatest gift!
Father Bill is an Episcopal priest who uses his sense of humor and his gift of storytelling to intertwine real life tales with those of the Gospel as a way of enlightening, not only his congregation, but all those he comes in contact with.
He has written two books, The Gospel According to Sam: Animal Stories for the Soul” and “The Beer Drinker’s Guide to God: The Whole and Holy Truth About Lager, Loving and Living.”
Fr. Bill will be talking about his experiences, and they will be autographing (and pawtographing) his books at St. John’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall at 1114 Indiana Ave. in Alamogordo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12th.
Fr. Bill and Wili are eager to meet special people and critters, and they hope to raise awareness about animal rescue. Fr. Bill’s visits often incorporate fundraising for local animal rescue organizations in the cities they visit.
Their visit to Alamogordo will include an auction to benefit Animal Village NM.
Everyone is invited to come eat, drink, and enjoy food for the soul !
