Santa Fe, NM –Senate President Pro Tempore Mary Kay Papen (D-38-Doña Ana) and State Representative Bill McCamley (D-33-Doña Ana) will host a public town hall meeting on Wednesday, April 22, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center in Las Cruces.
Sen. Papen said that she and Rep. McCamley will use the town hall to provide a re-cap of the 2015 legislative session. She also said they would focus part of the forum on capital outlay and answer any questions constituents might have about the legislature.
“I believe taking opportunities like this to interact with our constituents is one of the most important things we can do to maintain transparency and communication. There are a lot of questions and concerns our constituents have when it comes to our work as elected officials and it is important we address those questions and concerns adequately,” said Sen. Papen. “I look forward to hosting this event with Representative McCamley.”
The Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center is located at 304 Bell Avenue, in Las Cruces.
