Las Cruces – Las Cruces motorists are advised that Elks Drive from Lenox Avenue to North Main Street (US70) will have periodic lane closures beginning Tuesday, January 3rd at 7 a.m. The closure will be in effect for approximately one week and will only affect the south bound right turn lane at the Elks Drive and North Main Street intersection.
Mountain Construction will be replacing sidewalk and drive pads on the west side of Elks Drive. The closure will not affect any RoadRUNNER Transit routes. Motorists wanting to avoid possible delays should seek an alternative route. Access to businesses will be maintained during construction.
