Man Arrested In Las Cruces Bank Robbery

FBI officials say a man is in custody with the robbery of a credit union in Las Cruces.

They say 26-yeare-old Dominic Holland, of Las Cruces, was arrested minutes after the First Light Federal Credit Union was robbed Wednesday morning.

Witnesses say a man walked into the credit union at about 9:45 a.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded money.

The teller gave an undisclosed amount of money to the man, who left the credit union.

Las Cruces police arrested Holland and turned him over to the FBI.

His initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Las Cruces has yet to be determined.

Authorities didn't immediately know if Holland has a legal representation yet.
