Las Cruces – The Las Cruces Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl earlier this week.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Oscar A. Luevano, 33, whose last known address is an apartment on the 1900 block of south Telshor Boulevard in Las Cruces. Luevano is charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Detectives learned that on the evening of Monday, June 7, 2010, Luevano allowed the victim and two other young girls to consume alcohol at his residence. At some point during the evening, Luevano is accused of having sexual contact with the 13-year-old.
Luevano is 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
