District 2 Doña Ana County Commissioner Dr. David J. Garcia will host a Chaparral community meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, to update residents on the community’s skate park. 

The meeting will be held at the Delores Wright Community Resource Center at 400 East Lisa Drive.

Garcia will be joined by staff from the county’s grants, facilities/parks and constituent-services departments, who will discuss funding options, as well as how residents can get involved in the park’s restoration. Other areas of community concern also will be addressed.
