The New Mexico family of a University of Chicago student who was found dead in Lake Michigan is holding a memorial service.
A service for 20-year-old Austin Hudson-LaPore is scheduled Sunday at Albuquerque Academy, his former school.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified Hudson-LaPore last month after his body was pull from the lake. The third-year student had been missing for a week.
Family members and friends have said they believe Hudson-LaPore went to Lake Michigan's shore to observe storms that swept the area the day he disappeared. He had taken his final exams the same day.
