Las Cruces – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One office along with FNF Construction continue with work along I-25 between Lohman Avenue (exit 3) and University Avenue (exit 1). An overnight closure is scheduled for Wednesday May 13, 2015 as work progresses on the southbound bridge.
The contractor is moving forward with the construction of the abutment walls for the southbound bridge over Missouri Avenue. FNF will have a crane placed at the intersection of Missouri Avenue and Triviz in order to remove the abutment forms from the newly constructed abutment wall located on the south end of the overpass.
The NMDOT and FNF Construction will have a full closure in place on Wednesday May 13 by 8:30 pm and will be lifted by 6:00 am on Thursday May 14, 2015. This will affect motorists traveling east and westbound on Missouri Avenue between Triviz Drive and Don Roser. Motorists will be alerted to seek an alternate route during overnight hours.
