The New Desert Harmony Singers will perform a portion of their upcoming 2014 summer concert at the Southwest Senior Expo on Saturday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Las Cruces Convention Center. NDHS performed at last year’s Senior Expo and are delighted to be invited back again this year.
The NDHS 2014 summer concert will be titled “Let’s Go to the Movies!” Don Harlow, Musical Director, says "this will be one the most exciting productions we have ever done. All the songs have been used in at least one motion picture. Several were the Academy Award winners for Best Original Song. There are movie songs going back nine decades, so we’ll have something for everyone!”
NDHS Membership is open to those who can sing in tune, do a few simple dance moves now and then, and have fun doing it. NDHS sings all genres of popular music. Rehearsals are every Tuesday, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at Alameda & Griggs in Las Cruces.
