New Film To Be Shot In Las Cruces Area

A new independent film is being shot in New Mexico.

New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis says New Mexico production companies Slant Productions and Sandia Media will start production on "The Odd Way Home" in southern New Mexico later this month. Shooting will take place in Las Cruces, Deming, Hillsboro and Silver City.

Among the movie's stars is Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.

She plays the role of a woman escaping her life in Los Angeles who meets a man with autism. The two then embark on an inspirational journey though the great American Southwest.
