New Mexico State Fair officials announced the majority of performers for the 2016 New Mexico State Fair rodeo-concert entertainment lineup. Tickets for the concerts/rodeos offer an exceptional value, because a concert/rodeo ticket lets you enjoy all that the Fair has to offer included with the price of a ticket. Season tickets are on sale today, with individual tickets going on sale June 6.
This year’s New Mexico State Fair features rodeo-concerts backing PRCA and other rodeo events. The 2016 New Mexico State Fair will run 11 consecutive days beginning Thursday, September 8 through Sunday, September 18.
“We made it a priority to get the majority of our concerts announced as soon as possible, including our headliner, the legendary Dwight Yoakam, so that folks know the exceptional entertainment coming to the New Mexico State Fair this September, and make it a point to plan their live entertainment budget accordingly,” stated Dan Mourning, General Manager at the New Mexico State Fair. “We price our rodeo and concert series so that it is affordable for fair goers, and you do not want to miss out on even one of these great performers or the always action-packed PRCA rodeos.” The September 16 concert will be announced before summer.

On Tuesday, September 13 there is no concert associated with the rodeo, but the fair will be celebrating Wrangler Patriot Rodeo, as a way to honor our veterans. On that evening, cost of admission into the fair will get you a general admission seat at the rodeo on a first come, first served basis (with upgrades available for an additional fee).
Season Ticket packages are on sale now with a variety of pricing options. Prices for season ticket packages including ALL rodeo/concert events are $265 for box, $175 for chair-back and $115 for bench, and are available by logging onto www.UNMTickets.com or by calling the University of New Mexico Box Office at (505) 925-5626. Tickets for all individual concerts will go on-sale June 6 and will be available at the University of New Mexico Box Office, Albertson’s locations and online at www.UNMTickets.com. All tickets include gate admission to the fair regardless of when purchased.
