New Mexico's March Weather Was Drier, Warmer Than Normal

The National Weather Service says New Mexico's weather was significantly drier and warmer than normal in most parts of the state.

The service's Albuquerque office reports that the first 11 days of March were mostly dry with above-normal temperatures across New Mexico.

A small but strong storm dropped snow and rain on March 12 before dry conditions returned for most of the rest of March.

Snowfall in northeastern New Mexico on March 26 and in northern New Mexico late on March 31 provided exceptions.
