New Website Promotes Silver City

The Silver City Arts & Cultural District is delighted to announce a number of its recent accomplishments, including the release of the new website, www.visitsilvercity.org; the completion of the new collateral piece, which will replace the outdated 25 Reasons To Love Silver City; and the obtainment of grant funds from the New Mexico Tourism Department in conjunction with Grant County Tourism.

“It has been an extremely busy year for us at the Silver City Arts & Cultural District. Earlier this year we rolled out an updated map for visitors, and we just recently launched our new website and completed a booklet representing Silver City that will be available at visitor centers statewide, as well as mailed out to travelers. We have been working on these projects for a while, and it’s so thrilling to see them come together. They look and feel more modern, they mimic the marketing we have already been doing, and they feature gorgeous, expansive photography aimed at showcasing the very best of Silver City,” said Callie Kennington, Executive Director of the Silver City Arts & Cultural District.

While always juggling a number of projects, the Silver City Arts & Cultural District is constantly seeking funding to not only better Silver City for both residents and visitors alike, but market Silver City for the premier travel destination it already is.

Kennington continues: “The money from the New Mexico Tourism Co-op Marketing Grant allows us to expand into digital advertising in the Albuquerque, Tucson, and El Paso airports, and to continue the “Silver City is New Mexico True” campaign by partnering with Grant County Tourism. The Tucson Sun Link Street Car is another endeavor that will be funded through this program. Overall, it’s been a fantastic year and I am so excited about Silver City’s future!”
