NM Agency Looks To Hire Conservation Officers

KRWG News – SANTA FE, N.M. (KRWG) The New Mexico Game and Fish Department is looking for a few good men and women.

The agency says it's looking to hire more conservation officers to protect the state's wildlife. Multiple positions are available statewide.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college, passing a physical fitness test and successful completion of a five-month training course at the state Law Enforcement Academy.

Degrees can range from biology and fisheries science to forestry and criminal justice.

The agency says recruitment for trainees will run through May 12.
