NM Church Group's Truck Stolen After Mission Work

A church group says its truck and trailer were stolen in Albuquerque just hours after the group returned from doing missionary work in Mexico.

KOAT-TV reports that Better Together Mexico's truck and trailer were stolen from a driveway Sunday following a week-long Mexico trip.

The group uses the truck and trailer to build homes, churches and schools for those in need.

Better Together Mexico's Brenda Boatman says it's hard to come back from serving other people in a different country only to experience a theft like this.

Last year, Better Together Mexico built a school and pastor's home in Guachochi, located in the state of Chihuahua. They went back to finish construction this month.

Boatman says the group forgives those who took the equipment.

No arrests have been made.
