A woman has been treated for non-life threatening injuries after she was struck by a detective's vehicle while crossing an Albuquerque street.
Bernalillo County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Aaron Williamson said Saturday that alcohol and speed were not factors.
Williamson says 55-year-old Suzanna Windsor suffered a cut to her head and a dislocated left knee on Friday night.
He says an undercover detective identified as Luke Edwards had been making a turn when he hit Windsor.
The Albuquerque Journal reported that the detective was headed home after finishing up paperwork from a warrant service when he struck the woman. The newspaper says the detective called in the accident.
