NMSU Alamogordo Working To Address Big Enrollment Drop

New Mexico State University-Alamogordo is developing strategies in advising, online courses, marketing and other areas to help improve retention and graduation rates.

The Alamogordo Daily News reports that campus President Cheri Jimeno outlined 15 strategies in a "state of the campus" address that reported an enrollment drop.

The college's fall head count dropped by 894 students, or 29.3 percent, from the previous year.

Jimeno also said the college wants to additional degrees and certificates that are workforce driven.
