NMSU College Of Education To Highlight Distance Delivery Programs In El Paso

New Mexico State University’s College of Education will host a Discovery Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the El Paso Community College Administrative Services Building, 9050 Viscount Blvd. The event will highlight graduate programs that use a distance-delivery model.

“This is a chance to share opportunities with employees at El Paso Community College, alumni in the area and anyone who might be interested in pursing a graduate degree,” said Adelina Rodriguez, a student program coordinator for the college. “We will particularly focus on distance-delivery models to earn a master’s or doctoral degree for those who want to advance their education, but cannot leave their positions to pursue a more traditionally delivered graduate program.”

The event, which is open to the public, will include presentations from the college’s departments of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership.

For the third consecutive year, NMSU was recently ranked as one of the Best Online Education Programs according to U.S. News & World Report, including ranking 157th in Best Online Graduate Education Programs.
