NMSU To Host Event For Former Students Looking To Attain Degree

New Mexico State University’s Cross Campus Advising office will host a “Come Back and Complete” information session at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Corbett Center Colfax Room 210.

The event will help former students learn how many credits they need to complete their bachelor’s degree, what they need to do to re-enroll at NMSU and options for possible financial assistance.

Marissa Macias, cross-campus adviser, is leading a team that will help participants determine the number of courses they have completed and provide information on NMSU programs. As a two-time Aggie graduate, Macias said she enjoys helping students return to NMSU and leave with a diploma.

“Having students come back, having them graduate, having them become alumni and feeling what they should feel about the institution again brings me a lot of pride,” she said.

For more information contact Macias at marimaci@nmsu.edu or 575-646-3468.
