The New Mexico State University Library announces the release of its 2014
calendar, "Our Beginnings: The First Ten Years of New Mexico State
University." This year’s calendar focuses on the University’s 125th
anniversary, and each month features a photo which showcases the
architecture, students, presidents and lifestyle during the earliest years
at what was then Las Cruces College. From the football team in 1894 to the
only graduate in 1895, the photos capture an exciting time in NMSU’s
history.
Calendars can be purchased for $8 each, and the proceeds support the
NMSU Library. Supplies are limited. The calendars are available at the
Library’s Administration Office, Room 224, Zuhl Library and at the
Library’s Archives and Special Collections Department, Branson Library,
4th floor.
