Las Cruces, NM – Wednesday evening, New Mexico State University formally announced that former Associate Dean Dr. Larry Olsen's faculty appointment ended with the close of the Spring Semester. Olsen was the subject of an internal investigation after allegations surfaced that he sent numerous sexually explicit emails to other faculty members from his NMSU email account. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, Chair of the NMSU Board of Regents Bob Gallagher, maintains that the emails are unrelated to a decision not to renew the contracts of two minority junior professors.
