NMSU Ranked By Hispanic Outlook

  Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education has ranked New Mexico State University as one of the top graduate schools enrolling Hispanics in 2011, one of the top universities granting degrees to Hispanics in business management/marketing and one of the top schools in awarding master's and Ph.D. general STEM degrees to Hispanic students.

NMSU ranked 19th in graduate schools enrolling Hispanics. In a graduate school population of 3,529 students, 31 percent of NMSU graduate students at the time of the study were Hispanic.

NMSU ranked 21st for all master's degrees granted in business management/marketing to Hispanic students and 14th for all master's and Ph.D. general STEM degrees awarded to Hispanic students.

New Mexico State University is proud of its heritage as a Hispanic-serving institution, serving multicultural population of students and community members across five campuses, a satellite learning center in Albuquerque, cooperative extension offices located across the state and 12 agriculture research and science centers.
