Darren Phillips, NMSU

G.I. Jobs magazine has named New Mexico State University as a top 50 Military Friendly school in degree programs within areas of telecommunications and security/corrections. According to G.I. Jobs, Military Friendly schools represent the top tier of institutions that provide the best educational opportunities for military service members and their dependents. NMSU has been designated a Military Friendly school since 2010.

“Being a Military Friendly institution is important because it represents a commitment to offering our student veterans and their dependents the best possible supporting services in pursuit of their educational goals,” said Hector Sanchez, Military and Veterans Programs director. “It is a testament to our faculty and staff for making NMSU a Military Friendly institution.”

In addition, U.S. News & World Report ranked NMSU among its Best Graduate Schools 2017. Forbes has recognized NMSU as one of America’s Top Colleges for the ninth year. NMSU was named to the 2016 Center for World University Rankings list and one of the 50 most underrated colleges in America by Business Insider.
