Baseball players from across the state will be in Las Cruces on Friday and Saturday.
Senior high school baseball players from across New Mexico will play in the 39th annual North-South All-Star Baseball Classic.
It takes place in Las Cruces on Friday and Saturday, June 13th and 14th.
The event will be played in Apodaca Park -- one on Friday, and a double-header on Saturday. For many players, this will be the last chance to showcase their skills to universities and junior colleges.
The games are sponsored by the Optimist Clubs of Las Cruces.
The proceeds from the event are used for projects that assist and encourage young people.
New Mexico State University provides housing for the teams.
