One In Custody After Triple Stabbing In Albuquerque

Police say one suspect is in custody after three people were stabbed outside an Albuquerque cigar bar.

Officer Fred Duran said early Saturday that officers were called to a fire station, where all three victims showed stab wounds.

Duran says one of the victims was detained as possibly being the primary aggressor.

One victim was in critical condition but all three are expected to recover.

Authorities say the incident took place around 2:30 a.m. in the city's Nob Hill area across the street from Imbibe bar.

Duran says a group got into an argument before the stabbing but could not say what the motive was.

The identities of the suspect and the victims were not released.

The investigation is ongoing.
