EL PASO, Texas – In just their second season the Chihuahuas will welcome their one-millionth guest through the gates of Southwest University Park on Friday, Saturday or Sunday of this homestand.

As of today, the Chihuahuas have drawn 988,546 guests at Southwest University Park for 121 games. The Chihuahuas need 11,454 to reach the historic mark.

“To draw one million fans in less than two full seasons shows how great the community support has been for the Chihuahuas,” said El Paso General Manager Brad Taylor. “We are humbled to be in such elite company in Minor League Baseball so quickly.”

The Chihuahuas have welcomed 439,609 through Southwest University Park in 2015 while averaging 8,141 in 54 games. The Chihuahuas registered 548,937 fans last season in El Paso.
