Las Cruces: The District One office for the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) with Smith and Aguirre Construction continue with the project development of the concrete wall barrier, lighting, and placement of a large digital message board.
The contractor will need to close a portion of the eastbound lanes on US 70 between Rinconanda Blvd (exit 152) and Sonoma Ranch Blvd (exit 153) on Thursday September 4th from 10:00 pm until Friday September 5th 6:00 am. The closure is due to the contractor installing and connecting the large digital message board. Motorists will be advised to detour on to Bataan Memorial (frontage road) where they can regain access to US 70 eastbound at Sonoma Ranch Blvd.
