Hobbs, NM – Today Steve Pearce’s campaign launched its first TV ad of the 2014 campaign. The ad titled “Us” will run throughout the district. The ad features New Mexicans talking about Steve Pearce listening, caring and getting results for New Mexico.

“I am proud to stand up and fight for New Mexico's families as their Congressman. I will oppose Democrats and Republicans when they are wrong and work with them when they are right," said Steve Pearce.
Pearce pointed to his record of independence, including:
· Fighting wasteful spending to get the Federal Deficit under control.
· Opposing Obamacare and trying to limit its damage on our economy.
· Working to pull liberals and conservatives together for sensible immigration reform.
· Joining with President Obama, Republicans, and Democrats to reform and keep down the cost of college education.
· Siding with Democrats and Republicans in passing the Violence Against Woman Act.
· Opposing radical environmentalists who would distort the Endangered Species Act to threaten jobs in New Mexico.
· Passing badly needed reforms to the Veterans Administration.
