November 4, 2011 – Emily Guerra bridges the community on PUENTES with Executive Director of the 18th Annual Las Cruces International Mariachi Conference, Concerts & Festival,Phyllis Franzoy, which will be held November 9th-12th. Reaching out to at risk youth from school music dance programs; & community groups and individuals, who come together to learn from masters of the arts. This year Mariachi Cobre will share their celebration of their 40th Anniversary at the Spectacular Concert on November 12th at NMSU's Pan American Center. On Sunday, November 13th the Mariachi Mass with Bishop Ricardo Ramirez presiding will be at the Pan Am Center at 9:30 a.m.; and the Mariachi y Mas Fiesta will be on the plaza in Mesilla from 12 noon to 5 p.m. with the First Annual Mariachi competition.
