El Paso police are searching for a man who they say shot an officer.
Police say a man shot the officer Monday night. The officer was taken to area hospital and his condition is unclear.
They haven't released the officer's identity or other information about the shooting.
Witnesses tell KVIA-TV and KTSM-TV that the officer had pulled over a car when a person in another car passed and fired several gunshots.
No arrests have been reported.
