Authorities say two people have been found dead from apparent gunshot wounds in an Alamogordo home.
KOB-TV in Albuquerque reports that Alamogordo Police Detective Lt. Roger Schoolcraft says officers responded to shots fired late Thursday and found the bodies of a man and a woman at the scene.
Schoolcraft says detectives have a man in custody who they believe is connected to the shooting.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
The Otero County Sheriff's Office and New Mexico State Police assisted in the investigation.
