Authorities say a Santa Fe woman led police on a chase in a stolen vehicle that had a pipe bomb inside.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that officers were able to disarm the pipe bomb and arrest 22-year-old Jamie Tippett Saturday night.
Police say an officer was responding to a vehicle crash with his emergency lights and siren on when he got stuck behind Tippett, who had refused to yield.
The suspect then took off, and other officers located her near an intersection where she refused to pull over.
She was eventually taken into custody after running over a spike strip.
Lt. Sean Strahon says Tippett reported getting the vehicle from a friend and said she didn't know where the pipe bomb came from.
