Guests will have the opportunity to explore the Terminal Hangar Facility and expansive apron and interact with the Spaceport America and Virgin Galactic crews and other Spaceport customers who are scheduled to be there. Crew members will share their knowledge of commercial space and what it takes to run a commercial spaceport. Rocket demonstrations and curious science experiments will be showcased by our own Dr. Bill Gutman. Pilots from the U.S. Pilot’s Association will land on our Spaceway. This year will feature local fare including Luchador, Let them Eat Cake, Milagro, Joe’s BBQ and Paradise Ice. Sight and Sound Entertainment will be spinning space-themed tunes for your enjoyment, while the younger set participates in our art mural and is wowed by the state of the art Aircraft Rescue and Firefight (ARFF) unit.
The open house day is divided into two sessions – Morning from 9:00am to 12:00pm (Mountain Time) and Afternoon from 12:00pm to 3:00pm (Mountain Time)
