Rep. Rick Little (R-Doña Ana and Otero) announced the launch of a backpack drive for New Mexico’s kids. Little is partnering with Molina Healthcare on this effort to provide new backpacks to deserving students in House District 53.
“Every New Mexico child ought to have the supplies they need to learn,” said Little. “This is one way we can help the kids in our community get ready to go back to school. I hope the residents of District 53 will join me and Molina Healthcare in this drive to support New Mexico’s students.”
Molina Healthcare has pledged to match the number of backpacks donated in District 53, up to 100 backpacks. Residents can drop-off their backpack donations at the following location:
· DACC Chaparral Learning Center, 755 Prescott Anthony Drive, Chaparral, NM 88081
Donations will be accepted now through Friday, August 4, 2017.
