Reward In Anthony Elementary Burglaries

By KRWG News

Las Cruces – Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrests of the suspects who committed two burglaries at an area elementary school.

The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office is investigating the two burglaries committed within the past month at Anthony Elementary School in Anthony, N.M.

One of the burglaries occurred during the late evening of Nov. 13 or the early morning hours of Nov. 14. Taken were seven 42-inch RCA flat-screen television sets. Investigators believe that the suspects may have been driving a small white pickup, possibly a Chevrolet S-10. It's believed that they cut a fence near the 700 block of Madison Street to gain access to the northeast side of the school's campus.

The other burglary at Anthony Elementary School was committed at around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 9. In that burglary, three suspects wearing hoodies took an RCA flat-screen TV and possibly left from the southeast side of the school's campus.

If you have any information on either of these burglaries, or know who the suspects may be, you are asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to LCTIPS (528477).

The Crime Stoppers number and text messaging services are operational 24 hours a day and you do not have to give your name to collect a reward.
