Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the suspect who on Oct. 1 committed an armed robbery at the Giant convenience store on Lohman Avenue.
At around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, Las Cruces Police were called to the Giant convenience store at 2210 E. Lohman Ave. Police learned that a man threatened a store clerk with a black handgun and demanded money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and left the store headed east. No injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as white, approximately 5-feet-7-inches tall with a thin build. He concealed his face with a black ski mask and was wearing a black baseball cap.
Another man was seen standing outside the store and may or may not have been involved in the robbery.
