Reward In Las Cruces Auto Burglary

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect or suspects who stole tactical gear from a military police officer’s vehicle.

On Sunday, Jan. 6, Las Cruces Police learned that a vehicle belonging to a military police officer was burglarized as it sat parked on the 5600 block of Patagonia Drive. Taken from the vehicle were three 9 mm Beretta magazines, three AR-15 magazines, body armor, and a tactical vest carrier and holster.

Anyone with information that can help locate this property, or identify who is responsible for taking it, is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS.
