Reward In Machinery Theft From Hatch Dairy

  Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is continuing to offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the person or persons who stole more than $10,000 worth of machinery from a dairy in Hatch.

The Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office learned that Las Uvas Dairy, east of Hatch at 197 Milk Check Loop, was burglarized sometime on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013. Owners of the dairy reported that two shops at the dairy were broken into and burglarized.

Taken from the dairy was a utility trailer carrying a blue Miller Bobcat welder with acetylene and oxygen tanks, and a stainless steel lockbox; two red in color Honda model GX390 generators which were chained together and dragged from one of the shops; and a John Deere air compressor.

Anyone with information that can help identify the person or persons who committed this crime, or has information on the whereabouts of the machinery stolen from the dairy, is asked to contact Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS.
