The film will be followed by guest speaker Robin Reineke, the co-founder and Executive Director of the Colibri Center for Human Rights [www.colibricenter.org], a non-profit committed to assisting relatives of missing migrants last seen crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. In 2014, she was awarded the Institute for Policy Studies’ Letelier-Moffitt Human Rights Award. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the School of Anthropology at University of Arizona, completing her dissertation titled, “Naming the Dead: Identification and ambiguity along the U.S.-Mexico Border.”
